Fecal Egg Count

Microscopic inspection of feces is particularly valuable in parasitic prevention, diagnosis, and treatment because it allows us to identify the parasites that are present in your herd so that we can treat them effectively and avoid future harm and transmission.

We may do counts in the clinic as well as send samples to the lab for analysis. We’ve included a fecal collection methodology that you should follow while collecting your sample.

Following this technique yields clean and diagnostic samples, allowing us to obtain the most accurate findings possible. Please fill out the fecal submission document below and bring it in with your animal’s feces for inspection.
