Coggins and Export

Our facility is approved to provide Coggins testing, health certificates, and veterinary exams for the export of equine animals by the Nigerian Food Inspection Agency.

Aside from export, many rodeos, sales, contests, and other horse activities need a current negative Coggins test for Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA), a disease conveyed by biting insects through the blood of affected animals.

The veterinarians and staff at LFAH are delighted to provide this service to equine clients who wish to enter shows, board their horses, or transport their horses across international boundaries!

We now have a digital Coggins form available to enable for more effective communication between our clinic and our clients, as well as between our clients and their barns, competitions, rodeos, export authorities, and other entities that may require Coggins paperwork.
